There are so many beaches to discover on Mykonos and the best thing is to try them all. Since the clear waters are amazingly inviting and the soft sand invites you to unwind under the sun, you should simply let your mood guide you to the spot that suits you most.
On the northern coast, you can check out Agios Sostis and Ftelia beaches, located in the Ftelia Bay, famous for cool hippie-chic people, fine food and chill-out music.
For a more relaxed situation, you can sunbathe on the Fokos beach, unorganized and far from the summer bustle of the rest of the island.

In the most southern western point, the quiet Frangia beach, unorganized, reconnects you with nature while your eyes contemplate the blue of the sky towards south, where you can see Naxos in the distance.
Among the interesting locations you can visit on the island, a must is presented by the “Kato Mili”: 5 well-preserved windmills, one of which is a museum you can access, Boni’s Windmill.
At the Church of Panagia Paraportiani – a “fusion” of 4 different churches – in Mykonos Town you can admire the sunset next to this small but unique religious architectural composition.
Ano Mera village, with its Monastery of Panagia Tourliani from the 15th century, is located in the heart of the island: the picturesque streets and the small taverns offer the perfect image of the Cycladic traditional lifestyle.
